I have the same problem. Ping to ip adress runs successfully as well as traceroute which shows that no more HW is between the PC and MicroZed. Quoting Jiří Kalousek <kaloujir@fel.cvut.cz>:
Yes, I’m quite sure we used correct IP address. We also tried couple of times with the same result. And I’ve heard that more people had the same problem.

Is your target IP address correct? This happens when the nobody answers on the given port, which is also the case when you try to connect somewhere else.
